SPRINGFIELD, Va — Local area moms convened today for the first ever 2018 National Capital Mom Conference held at the Waterford Reception Center in Northern Virginia.

The conference was organized into three information sessions and attracted all types of mothers—expectant moms, veteran moms and even some dads and kids were along for the ride.

Organizer, Rebecca Link, said the event concept was created due to her own struggle to find the community support she craved as a new mother.
